WHY DON’T YOU JUST RAISE TUITION?
We work hard to keep costs down so that St. Laurence Catholic School continues to be as affordable as possible. This opens the doors for families who want their children to be guided through faith, learning, and leadership. Unlike tuition, gifts to the Saints & Angels Annual Fund are voluntary and tax-deductible.
WHY IS 100% PARTICIPATION SO IMPORTANT?
Every year, we strive to achieve a goal of 100% participation in the Saints & Angels Annual Fund. Outside funding sources such as potential donors, corporations, and foundations want to know that SLCS families support the school before they are willing to commit to donations and grants.
DOES MY GIFT REALLY MATTER?
YES! Every gift, regardless of size, is important because it shows support for SLCS. Your gift is an expression of confidence in our school and assists in maintaining the quality and affordability of a St. Laurence Catholic School education.
HOW ARE THESE FUNDS USED?
Gifts to the Annual Fund contribute to the school’s operating budget. Your generous donations support SLCS in many ways by allowing us to:
• Recruit and retain the highest quality teachers and staff
• Offer professional development opportunities to our staff
• Upgrade technology and equipment as needed
• Maintain and improve our facilities
• Provide campus security and ensure the safety of our students
