St. Laurence Catholic School takes pride in its numerous accolades and recognitions:
- National Blue Ribbon School: Our school has been honored by the United States Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School in the years 2005, 2014, and 2023. This prestigious recognition highlights our commitment to academic excellence, a supportive and student-centered environment, and consistently outstanding student outcomes.
- STREAM Synergy School: SLCS is recognized as a STREAM Synergy School by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, showcasing our dedication to providing a well-rounded education in Science, Technology, Religion, Arts, and Math.
- Catholic Impact Award: We are honored to have received the Catholic Impact Award from the Catholic Schools Office, recognizing our compassion and service at local, national, and global levels.
- Recognition from the Texas Legislature: The House of Representatives of the 87th Texas Legislature commended the administrators, faculty, and staff of St. Laurence Catholic School for their outstanding service during the COVID-19 pandemic. We received special recognition from State Representative Jacey Jetton in 2021.
- Innovative Catholic Education (ICE) Award: In 2017, SLCS was the proud recipient of the Innovative Catholic Education (ICE) Award for Community Involvement, recognized at the NCEA Conference.
- Outstanding School Board Award: The St. Laurence Catholic School Board was honored with the Outstanding School Board Award in 2019 for its commitment to our school's mission and success.
- Fort Bend's Favorite Private School: As the Fort Bend Focus Magazine readers voted, St. Laurence Catholic School was named Favorite Private School in Fort Bend for five consecutive years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023).
- Best of the Best Finalist: St. Laurence Catholic School was named "Best of the Best'' Top Three Finalist by the Houston Chronicle in 2023!
- Best Private School in Fort Bend County by Living Magazine Award (2024)
