I hope everyone is enjoying relaxing time as a family this summer and finding ways to make memories your child will cherish forever! I know that you may not yet be in the mode to think about our upcoming school year, but I would like to make you aware of some important dates and information that will help you prepare for a successful start to our amazing 25th anniversary as a school!
The theme we have chosen for the upcoming school year is based on Revelations 21:5, in which God reveals how He makesall things new. We share this same scripture with the parish and find it fitting due to the many changes coming this fall. The idea of starting fresh, renewing commitments and focusing on new growth opportunities is a great way to begin any new venture or school year. As always, St. Laurence Catholic School will continue on a mission of constantly seeking new and better ways to educate God's children in their faith, grow their knowledge and lead them to a path of serving others. If you are looking for ways to share in this year's theme, there are many beautiful ways to express renewal and new beginnings as a parent and partner with us in your child's education.
It is almost certain that we will face new challenges in this upcoming year; however, I am confidant in the many gifts and steadfast resolve that you and our amazing staff always bring to the table. We may not always stop to thank you enough for giving so much of yourself and the trust you place in us with your child every day, but I hope that you take pride in the knowledge you have and will continue to make a difference in the overall mission of our school.
Please look over the information included in the back to school newsletter regarding the beginning of the year! Enjoy your last few weeks of summer and we look forward to seeing and working alongside you very soon.
God Bless,
Suzanne Barto
