St. Laurence Catholic School has over 710 students in PreK through eighth grades. We have three classes per grade level in pre-kindergarten through eighth grades. The community is the foundation upon which Christianity is built.
Our students are aware of their role as active members of the Christian community through their daily experiences and interactions. We encourage them to use their gifts and talents to help others through service. Each grade level is involved in a Community Service Project. Some of the projects our students completed last year include entertaining the elderly, collecting toiletries and household items for people in crisis, prayers, and cards for friends in need, building and stocking a library for abandoned children and gardening to feed the hungry.
As one of the largest Catholic parish grade school in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston,
St. Laurence is pleased that its graduates continue their education at Catholic or public high schools where most are able to pursue a challenging academic program. Several of our alumni have been awarded scholarships and the expectation is that all of our students will enroll in college.
